What
is the meaning of life? It is a question each one of us has wondered about.
Each one of us has somehow found a way into this word. But another question
comes; for what purpose or reason are we here? This question can be answered by
looking at the great aim of human life in the world. The great aim of human
life is to enjoy happiness and peace of mind. Every person wants to enjoy and
experience the positive emotions of love, pleasure, satisfaction and
fulfillment. We can ask ourselves, is it possible to attain all positive
emotions in this life? The answer is yes. It is possible to attain all positive
emotion by changing our thinking attitude.
Many of us we tend to judge things by looking only the negative side of
it. William Shakespeare, a famous play writer once said that, there is nothing
good or bad, but thinking makes it so. We are here on this earth to do
something wonderful with our life. All of us want to experience happiness, joy,
excellent healthy, complete prosperity and total fulfillment. All of these can
be achieved only by changing our thinking attitude. It is a right moment to
take all things in life in a positive way.
There
are no limits to what you can do, be or have except the limits you place on
your own thinking and your own imaginations. The biggest enemies you will ever
face are your own doubts and fear. These are usually negative beliefs, not
necessarily based on the fact that you have accepted over the years until you
no longer question on them. As Shakespeare wrote in the tempest "what is
past is prologue". Everything that has happened to you in the past has
been a preparation for wonderful life that lies ahead of you in the future.
It
is hard to exeggerate the value of changing your thinking. Positive thinking
can do many things for some one to solve different problems which occurs in our
daily life and to create different opportunities; economically, socially and
even in our religions. Positive thinking can really change your life.
We
have to consider also another side of a coin that to chanfe your thinking
attitude requires time. It is not a single day process. It is the process which
need to be practiced everyday in life. We have to understand that to change
your thinking attitide is not an automatic process. It doesnt happen on its
own. Albert Einstein, the great physicist once said that "Thinking is
hardwork ;that is why so few do it". If you want to become a good thinker
you need to work at it. The moment you begin to change your thinking attitude
and trust the process frankly speaking
your life will vhange immediiately and the fruits of your work will be seen by
others, whether in home, in your office or in the society.
So, it is the time now to start thinking positively. It is the right time of removing ‘nitafanyaje sasa’ attitude; a famous Swahili phrase meaning what can i do now. It is used by many of us when we meet difficulties in doing things. Every challenge, every problem has its own way to be solved. But the most and important way to solve problems in our life is by changing our attitude of thinking. If you change your thinking about yourself, you change your life almost immediately and other things like happiness and successful in all aspect of life will follow the same line. Always remember that it doesnt matter where you are coming from ; all real matters is where you are going-Brian Tracy in his book "Kiss That Frog.
